That afternoon, we left DisneySea for Disneyland. We arrived at about 4 p.m., so we checked into our hotel room first. All trip times here are local Japan time.
Our room, then an evening at Disneyland

Our first night in a Beauty and the Beast Room
For our first night, we stayed in a Beauty and the Beast Character Room. There were details from the story all around us.

When we booked, Beauty and the Beast Rooms had two or three layouts, depending partly on whether you chose two or three beds. We wanted one with a separate sitting area. It had its own television, so Dad could carry on watching after the children had fallen asleep.

The little things in our room
Some of the room amenities were ours to take home, but the pajamas had to stay at the hotel.

The room also helped get the children excited for day 3, when we planned to use Happy Entry for the Beauty and the Beast attraction. That meant another early start for everyone. 🤔
Into Disneyland for the evening
We planned to head into the park around 5 p.m. with an evening pass. But I hadn't checked properly: at the time, that ticket had to be bought through the app. The hotel counter couldn’t sell me one, so I ended up buying a 1-Day Passport instead. 😭😭😭

We hadn't planned any particular rides that day. We just wanted to bring the children in to enjoy the park in the late afternoon and evening.

The Multiple Experiences pass from that morning
Then I remembered the pass we'd received when the ride broke down at DisneySea, so I looked for it in the app.
It was called Multiple Experiences. At first, we weren't sure whether it would work in both parks, because the blue paper card we had received listed only DisneySea attractions. But when we checked the app, there were attractions from both parks to choose from. We decided to give it a try.

Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek!
We went to the attraction and entered the Priority Pass lane. A staff member scanned our QR code, and it worked! The children got an extra ride we hadn’t planned on.

Afterwards, I wondered whether “Multiple” in the name meant we could use it more than once. So we decided to walk over to another attraction we had our eye on.
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
We went into the Priority Pass lane again and explained to the staff how we had received the pass and that we had already used it once. Could we use it again?
The staff member asked us to scan the QR code at the scanner by the entrance, but this time it didn’t work. I thought that probably meant we could only use it once and turned to tell the children we couldn’t go in. Then the staff member called us back, scanned it with the device clipped to their waist and let us through. 😄

When I wrote the original post, I still didn't know whether the pass could be used more than once. I'd looked it up online before posting, but couldn't find a clear answer.
Both rides suited our young children really well. In fact, I had been planning to use DPA or book a 40th Anniversary pass the following day, so getting to ride them this way felt like a lovely bonus.
Dinner and a last look around before returning to our room
After that, we had dinner at the restaurant we’d booked, then took the children back to our room. That was the end of day 2 at Tokyo Disney Resort.
